A tennis racket is an essential sports equipment for every tennis player. It is made up of strings and a frame, which is composed of a handle, a neck and a head. Parts of a tennis racket:

• The handle (grip) has the shape of an octagon, it is wrapped in leather, on which additional layers of anti-slip surfaces, so-called wraps, can be attached. Today, leather is replaced by synthetic materials in most cases.

• The head is elliptical in shape with a striking surface created by the strings of the string. The string surface is uniform and the string density in the middle part must not be lower than on the rest of the surface. • The frame and its total length including the handle must be less than 73.66 cm and the total width must then be less than 31.75 cm.
