Personal protection data for the purpose of operating the EXIsport e-shop

Information on the protection and processing of personal data for the purpose of operating the EXIsport e-shop (in connection with the modification from 04/2019 )

The company PPG Group s.r.o. with registered office Opatovská cesta 14, 040 01 Košice, Slovak Republic, ID No. 51 887 819, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Košice I, section Sro, insert no. 46297/V (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), which since April 2019 has been the operator of retail stores and an e-shop under the name EXIsport (hereinafter referred to as the "EXIsport network") .

The original operator of the EXIsport network was the company TOMIREX s.r.o., with its registered office at Opatovská cesta 14, 040 01 Košice, IČO 31 723 420, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Košice I, section Sro, insert no. 7510/V (hereinafter also "Original operator").

In connection with the aforementioned facts, the Company, as the current operator, is in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (further, appropriately, the "Regulation "), especially according to Art. 14 of the Regulations, the information provided below is provided with the understanding that the protection of personal data is also covered by Act no. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and the amendment of some laws.

The company operates an e-shop at www.exisport.com (hereinafter referred to as "web shop" or "e-shop"). As a buyer, you can order and buy goods in the e-shop, or you can register an account there in order to facilitate the addition and correction of data for further orders and their tracking. More detailed conditions are governed by the business terms and conditions of the e-shop.

During the operation of the e-shop, the Company, as the operator, obtains, processes and stores your personal data, which are provided on the e-shop page. These data are: first name, last name, street, number, zip code, village, e-mail, telephone, or loyalty card number, other data in the EXIsport form, or data for receiving the goods (e.g. signature). About personal data not obtained from the person concerned, or of its representative, were provided to us from a source that is the Original Operator.

You provide us with this data for the purpose of operating the e-shop, i.e. preparation and execution of the order, delivery of goods, tracking the status of orders, or for the purpose of updating data for the e-shop and establishing pre-contractual relations, sending newsletters, marketing implementation, including the processing of possible complaints . They do not require or provide special categories of personal data, only ordinary categories of personal data. Personal data are stored for a period of 3 years, or for the storage period determined by applicable legal regulations.

The provision of personal data is a contractual requirement, unless otherwise stated in the Regulation. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the Regulation and the aforementioned law . The processing of your personal data is for the fulfillment of the contract to which you are a party, or for the registration of your account  in the e-shop according to the terms and conditions.

Personal data must be provided to us because without  it is not possible to process the order delivered to the e-shop or deliver the goods. Personal data are used for the stated purposes to the extent necessary.  You can log out of your e-shop account at any time.  

We can further provide your personal data to persons - processing intermediaries, persons and recipients who participate in the operation of the e-shop and in fulfilling the purpose of processing personal data. Such persons are mainly contractual partners of the Company as the operator of the EXIsport network, such as postal companies, courier companies, web shop operators, entities from the field of information technology and consultancy, through which the operation of the e-shop, the evaluation of its activity and the offer of goods, including the delivery of goods, are ensured. 

According to the Regulation, you (the person concerned) have the right to:

a)    revoke the consent granted at any time, without this having any effect on the legality of the processing based on the consent granted before its revocation; 

b)    request from the Company access to personal data concerning the person concerned and for their correction or deletion or restriction of processing,

c)    to object to the processing of personal data,

d)    on the portability of personal data,

e)    be informed about the source from which the personal data come, or information about whether they come from publicly accessible sources, if the personal data were not obtained from you,

f)     submit  complaint to the supervisory authority at the Office for the Protection of Personal Data based in Bratislava.

These rights correspond to our obligations. Each of your authorizations according to letter a) to f) can be applied by sending a request to the Company's headquarters, by sending an e-mail to the address obseneudaje@ppggroup.eu , by delivering the request to any of the EXIsport network stores, depending on which of these forms is most accessible to you. Your request should indicate which of these rights and how you want to use them.

We do not perform automated individual decision-making or profiling according to the Regulation and the aforementioned law, we will notify you of any changes. Personal data can be combined in connection with data on the EXIsport Loyalty Card so that the benefits of the Loyalty Program can be applied when making a purchase. In connection with the offer of information society services, we can introduce measures to verify whether the consent of the person concerned, who is under 16 years old, is provided or approved by his legal representative, or proceed according to the legal regulations in this area. We are obliged to provide you with information about a different purpose and other relevant information according to the mentioned legal regulations, if we intend to further process personal data for a purpose other than the one for which they were obtained. If that is the intention, we will inform you about it.
