Merrell men's shoes. Men's trekking shoes are highly functional and therefore made for hiking expeditions. The strong point of outdoor shoes is the GORE-TEX® membrane, which ensures waterproofness and reliable breathability. Men's trekking shoes have a reinforced toe and heel with additional material for a higher level of foot protection.

The upper made of a combination of synthetic leather and mesh guarantees very good air circulation. The laces are 100% recycled, and the mesh tongue protects against dirt getting inside. Merrell trekking shoes have a removable, moldable insole made of EVA material. Merrell Air Cushion technology in the heel absorbs shocks and provides stability. A plus is the midsole, which provides cushioning, cushioning and shock absorption. The ribbed rubber sole ensures grip and traction even on wet and difficult terrain. Technology:

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) - The material most commonly used for the production of midsoles. The molded EVA is heated and compressed in the mold, molding it into the shape of the midsole. It is light, elastic and has good damping properties.

GORE-TEX® - the Gore-Tex® membrane contains more than 1.4 billion microscopic pores per cm2. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than water droplets, but 7,000 times larger than a water vapor molecule. That's why the Gore-Tex® membrane does not allow moisture from the outside environment, and at the same time perfectly wicks away body sweat.

Air Cushion technology - the so-called the air cushion, which is located in the sole of the shoe (orange disk in the picture), absorbs shocks and provides stability. It is used exclusively in Merrell footwear. Air Cushion® is compressed at heel strike and thus absorbs energy equivalent to up to four times the weight of the body. It provides unrivaled comfort.
