Kayland footwear. Ankle-cut hiking boots in an attractive combination of brown and red colors are suitable for use in rocky and mixed terrain. They will support you in all circumstances! The ALS system is integrated on the abrasion-resistant suede leather upper, which guarantees optimal heel protection during the hike. Outdoor shoes have asymmetric lacing to ensure foot fixation along with a medium profile. Ankle hiking boots have a reinforced heel and toe with a rubber overhang.

Waterproof hiking boots with a Gore-Tex® membrane also ensure excellent breathability. The mountain boots have a microporous midsole that absorbs shocks perfectly and a Vibram® Gravity sole with MegaGrip admixture for perfect grip when climbing or walking on uneven, slippery surfaces.

Technology:

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) - The material most commonly used to make midsoles. The molded EVA is heated in the mold and compressed to form a midsole. It is light, elastic and has good damping properties.

GORE-TEX® - Gore-Tex® membrane contains more than 1.4 billion microscopic pores per cm2. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than water droplets, but 7,000 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. Therefore, the Gore-Tex® membrane does not allow moisture from the outside environment, and at the same time it perfectly wicks away body sweat.

Vibram®Gravity: Higher quality softer specially developed for Kayland. Gravity brings the ideal balance of the two mixtures Magagrip and Idrogrip.

  • Magagrip = better stability and durability in diverse terrain; has excellent grip in both wet and dry environments.
  • Idrogrip = is especially sticky and safe in the technical parts of the rock and rubble ascent. The softer compound on the toe and heel of the shoe is ideal for better grip and braking on the descent.
