Metallix - made from a specially designed carbon fiber matrix and a new crystalline metal alloy. The grains of this alloy are 1000 times smaller than the grain size of a typical metal. A reduction in grain size means an increase in performance or, as the Hall-Petch effect states, smaller grains = stronger material.
