Tecnica was founded in Montebelluna (Italy), right in the heart of the world's footwear industry, producing work boots and mountain boots. When skiing became popular as a sport in Italy, the company started producing winter boots in 1970.

The company is also known for starting the production of the Moon Boot , inspired by the shoes worn by the astronaut who was the first to walk on the moon . Tecnica skis

In 1970, Tecnica also developed the first bi-injected ski boots, called Tecnus. These shoes heralded a real revolution in the industry. A very successful TNT series followed. Today, Tecnica offers ski boots that excel in several technologies, such as:
