What does a diving mask consist of?

• The strap is the part of the mask that fastens behind the diver's head and holds the mask in place. It can be made of rubber, silicone or textile. The strap should be adjustable and easy to put on and take off.

Types of diving masks and goggles

You can find different types of masks on the market. It is necessary to choose the one that will offer you the necessary comfort and you will feel comfortable underwater in it. When choosing, take into account its shape, size and the purpose for which you need a diving mask.

• Full-face masks are masks that cover the diver's entire face - mouth and nose. The diver can breathe directly through the mask using an integrated snorkel or respirator. They are a great choice for snorkeling or recreational diving to a depth of up to 10 meters.

• Classic diving masks only cover the eyes and nose. Their wearer can breathe through the mouth using a separate snorkel. They are suitable for diving to a greater depth or for people with high demands on the quality of vision.

• Swimming goggles are goggles that only cover the eyes. They allow the diver to breathe through the nose or mouth without the aid of a snorkel and are a good choice for surface swimming or for children and beginners.
