Puma SE (officially referred to as PUMA) is a prominent German multinational company that produces sports and walking shoes, as well as sports textiles, based in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

History of Puma

The company was founded in 1924 as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik by the brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler. The relationship between the two brothers deteriorated to such an extent that they both agreed to split in 1948 and so they now form two separate entities, Adidas and Puma. Both companies are based in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
