The company was founded in 1960 in the small town of Örnsköldsvik in Sweden. The founder was Åke Nordin. He named his company after the arctic fox - Fjallräven because of its resilience and resourcefulness. The appearance in the Swedish style is characterized by simplicity and practicality. Emphasis is also placed on the environment.
