For snorkeling, you only need a few basic things:

• fins

You put a mask over your face that allows you to see underwater without holding your breath, and you put the snorkel in your mouth so you can breathe while your face remains submerged. Fins improve your mobility in the water and allow you to swim more easily.

Once you are in the water, a fascinating world opens up before you. Below the surface, you will come across colorful coral reefs with their diverse fauna. You can observe brightly colored fish of various shapes and sizes, interesting marine animals such as sea urchins, starfish or octopuses and even sharks in selected locations. Peacefully swimming sea turtles are also frequent visitors to snorkeling spots.
