How can I charge my electric bike?

The battery of an electric bicycle is not as big as, say, the battery of an electric motor. Most modern e-bikes are sold with a very practical adapter and charging cable that you simply plug into the mains. There is a socket on the battery that you can easily plug in at home or at a charging station. If you do not have the possibility to charge the electric bike directly, you can remove the battery and conveniently charge it in any home outlet.

But the advantage is that many employers, shopping centers, gas stations and tourist spots have places where you can charge your electric bike for free.

How long does it take to charge an electric bike?

The length of charging depends on the size or battery capacity and charger used. But you don't have to worry. Even if you only charge your e-bike for a few hours during a lunch and coffee break at a restaurant with a charging station, it will comfortably last you a few kilometers again.

Are electric bikes heavier than regular bikes?

The difference between a classic bicycle and an electric bicycle is mainly that only one of them has:

electric motor,

and battery.

• The e -bike is built with more robust components than a standard bike to handle the extra power from the motor.

While e-bike technology is evolving rapidly and bikes are getting lighter, e-bikes will still be at least a few kilograms heavier. Their weight is around 20 kilograms, depending on size and equipment. Simply put, you have to sacrifice something to support an electric motor. After all, this statement is true in everything.

If you are still deciding whether to invest in a new electric bicycle or stick with classic bicycles, ask us for advice . We will listen to your opinions, evaluate your needs and together we will choose a more suitable solution for you.
