More ecological travel mainly means less use of fossil fuels. Electric cars have already shown us that it is possible to travel without gasoline or diesel or with a great limitation. The electric bicycle is another step towards limiting classic car transport.

Of course, you can't use a bike in all weathers if you want to get to work or a meeting on time and without sweaty circles under your armpits. Electric bicycles are traditionally used for:

• adrenaline experiences in the mountains,

• for longer journeys on cycle paths,

• commuting to work,

• for shopping,

• on a trip to see friends.

Can you ride an electric bike with a dead battery?

If you're worried about running out of battery before you reach your destination, choose a lower level of assistance. But you don't have to worry about the battery running out while driving. Nothing terrible will happen, you will only hurt your legs a little. You won't even feel it when going downhill, but you have to pull yourself and the electric bike up the hill, which is heavier than the classic one.

How to prevent discharge?

First of all, it is a ride with lower support from the electric motor. But don't forget the obvious solutions either:

• before riding, make sure that the bike is fully charged,

• check where the charging stations are on your route,

• monitor the battery charge level while driving,

• consider a spare battery.
