Diving masks are accessories that allow you to see underwater . They can also include a snorkel or diving bottles, thanks to which you can also breathe underwater.

What does a diving mask look like?

Diving masks or diving goggles consist of a frame, lenses, a seal and a strap. Thanks to it, they adapt to the shape of the face and ensure comfort and tightness. Diving masks vary in shape, size, material, color and brand. They can be sold in a set together with a snorkel or fins.

Types of diving masks

Diving goggles and masks can have different glass shapes or designs. Some of the common types of diving masks are :

• monocular masks - have one large glass that provides a wide viewing angle and good visibility. They are suitable for scuba diving, snorkeling and freediving.

• double lens masks - they have two smaller glasses that are separated by a nasal septum. They are lighter, more compact and easier to equalize pressure. They are suitable for scuba diving, snorkeling and freediving.

• full-face masks - popular among children, they cover the entire face and allow breathing through the mouth and nose. They have an integrated snorkel or diving regulator. They are comfortable, safe and prevent fogging.
