MARKER

The Marker brand has been a manufacturer of alpine ski bindings since 1952 . The company was founded by Hannes Marker. It is known as a pioneer in detachable binding technology.

Marker binding - history

The first Marker model was called Duplex and had a release tip . It was followed in 1953 by the Simplex binding, which was a huge success. The new models introduced in 1980 were the main competitors on the Alpine racing circuit. Marker remained independent until 1980, since then ownership of the company passed through several owners until the company became part of the K2 Sports group .
