FISCHER

The Fischer company was founded by Josef Fischer in Ried im Innkreis (Austria) in 1924. After his death in 1959, his children took over the company - Josef Fischer Jr. and Selma Stumberger. They reorganized the company in both production and sales.

From the history of the Fischer brand

In the 1960s and 1970s, the company grew steadily. In 1971, it started producing cross-country skis and soon took the lead in this field. In the late 1970s, Fischer founds Sport AG, including mergers with companies:

• Castles

• Dynafit

In the 1980s and 1990s, the company became a supplier for the aviation industry thanks to its know-how. He was the first ski manufacturer to relocate part of his production to Ukraine in Mukachevo. In the new millennium, the company focused on alpine and Nordic skiing. She also started developing shoes, bindings and clubs.
