In 1939, after experience in the leather business, the brothers Adriano and Oddone Vaccari founded the Nordica brand, which at that time produced shoes. In the post-war years, Nordica also focused on ski shoes, and continued to supply cross-country and climbing shoes to the market. At that time, it was a seasonal manual production.

Who made the Nordica brand famous?

In 1950 , Zeno Colò lent his name to the Nordica skier with a revolutionary liner created by the designers of the Colmar brand. At the 1950 World Championships in Aspen, Zeno became World Champion for the Nordica brand:

• in a convention

• also in giant slalom

and thus made famous the ski boot produced by the company from Trevignano.

Nordica skis today

The Nordica brand celebrated its 70th birthday in 2009. Nordica skis have therefore undergone a long development, but they have never lost quality and performance. Today, they are globally recognized ski boots thanks to the professionals who participate in their testing.
