Eastpak - Eastern Canvas Products Inc. - got its first order more than 60 years ago. It signed its first contract with the Pentagon, producing backpacks for the US military.
Eastpak - a brand for young people
In 1976, the founder's son Mark Goldman joined the company and transformed the old company into a "lifestyle" brand. The company began to expand into new markets and focused its attention mainly on school bags and backpacks.
In 1985, it was the first to come up with a revolutionary technology for dyeing nylon fabric with multiple colors. In the following years, Eastpak continued to innovate its technologies and improve the design of its products. Today, Eastpak's production is focused on people who live and work in the city.
