BASSO

The story of the Basso brand began in the 1970s, when a young boy named Alcide Basso fell in love with bicycles. In his home workshop, he begins soldering, disassembling and reassembling, getting his hands dirty to understand how things are made. In 1977, he produced his first bicycle frame, which showed him the potential for opening his own workshop.

Basso is still based in the north of Italy, just outside Vicenza in the small village of Dueville.
