A bicycle pump can be:

• bicycle foot pump - it is larger and more stable, suitable for quick and comfortable inflation at home or in the workshop

• hand pump for a bicycle - it is smaller and lighter, suitable for carrying on a bicycle and for use in case of a puncture. The bicycle pump must be compatible with the type of valve used on the bicycle.

Ball pump

It is used for inflating various balls , such as football, basketball, volleyball, etc. The ball pump must have a needle attachment (adapter) that fits into the ball valve. A ball pump can be:

• manual - it is small and simple, suitable for inflating smaller balls

• foot - it is larger and more powerful, suitable for inflating larger balls

• electric - is the fastest and most convenient, but requires a source of electrical energy
