Modern winter boots made of functional light materials are focused on comfort. The GORE-TEX® membrane offers excellent water resistance. Men's winter footwear has torsional stability and full suspension. Ankle boots for men are equipped with a protective strip around the entire perimeter of the foot to protect against abrasion in difficult terrain. The collar and tongue have comfortable and soft padding. Thanks to the Biosole™ sole, Icebug shoes provide traction and comfort even at low temperatures.

Technology:

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) - The material most commonly used for the production of midsoles. The molded EVA is heated and compressed in the mold, molding it into the shape of the midsole. It is light, elastic and has good damping properties.

GORE-TEX® - the Gore-Tex® membrane contains more than 1.4 billion microscopic pores per cm2. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than water droplets, but 7,000 times larger than a water vapor molecule. That's why the Gore-Tex® membrane does not allow moisture from the outside environment, and at the same time perfectly wicks away body sweat.

Biosole™ - In the Biosole™ sole, natural rubber replaces synthetic rubber and reduces dependence on oil. Natural rubber has about half the impact on the climate as synthetic rubber. Biosole™ is made from 90% oil-free components, of which 62% is natural rubber. The rubber compound provides good traction all year round and remains soft and flexible in all temperatures. Biosole™ has excellent abrasion properties, thanks to which the sole lasts a long time. Icebug is dedicated to sourcing FSC-certified natural rubber from sustainably managed forests in Thailand.

The Ortholite® insole combines a specific Ortholite® foam and heel EVA part. It ensures a dry and healthy environment for your foot and better cushioning. Even after long-term use, it will not disappoint you with its effectiveness. It is made of recyclable rubber and does not harm the environment.
