Adding photos to Google maps helps improve visiting places, has an impact on its rating and overall attractiveness for customers. Photos that are closely related to the store or its goods are added to a specific location.

How to add photos from different devices:

Computer:

Adding a photo to a place's page

   1.On your computer, open Mapy Google and search for a location.

    2. Once you've selected a location, click Add Photo. You may need to scroll down the page to see this option.

  3.  A field will appear. Drag the photo you want to upload to it or click the "Select photos to upload" button.

Viewing your photos

To see all the photos you've shared on Google Maps:

1. Open Google Maps on your computer.

2. In the top left, click on the Your contributions menu..

3. Select Photos.

Android:

Add a photo or video from a place page in Google Maps

1. Open the Google Maps application on your Android phone or tablet.

2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.

3. Tap the place name or address at the bottom of the screen for more information.

4. Tap Add Photos. You may need to scroll down the page to see this option.

5. Choose what you want to do:

• Select a photo or video from the gallery: tap Folder.
• Take a new photo: Tap Camera, then tap Shutter.
• Take a new video: Tap Camera, then hold the shutter for ten seconds to start recording a video. To mute the video, tap the volume control in the lower right corner.

Deleting photos and videos

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app.

2. Tap Contribute  Add photo  Photos.

3. Select the item you want to delete.

4. At the top right, tap Delete OK.

Giving a like to a photo

You can like a photo that someone uploads to Google Maps.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app.

2. Search for a place.

3. In the list of search results at the bottom of the screen, tap the name of the place.

4. At the top of the place card, tap the photo gallery.

5. Tap the photo you want to like.

6. In the upper right corner, tap Thumbs Up.

7. To un-like a photo, tap Thumbs Up again.

Iphone:

Add a photo or video from a place page in Google Maps

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone or iPad 

2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.

3. For more information, tap the place name or address at the bottom of the screen.

4. Scroll down and tap Add photo, or in the options menu (overview, reviews, photos, information), tap Photos and then Add photos.

5. Choose what you want to do:

• Selecting a photo or video from the gallery: select a photo or video, then click Publish.
• Take a new photo: tap Camera, then tap Shutter, then tap Publish.

Viewing and removing photos from Search

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Tap Contribute.

3. Tap View Profile.

4. Select the photo you want to delete.

5. Tap More Remove this photo.

Giving a like to a photo

You can like a photo that someone uploads to Google Maps.

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Search for a place.

3. In the list of search results at the bottom of the screen, tap the name of the place.

4. At the top of the place card, tap the photo gallery.

5. Tap the photo you want to like.

6. At the top right, tap Like.

7. To un-like a photo, tap Like again.

From the Google Photos app or Gallery on iPhone/Android

1. On your iPhone or Android, open the Gallery or Google Photos app.

2. Select a photo or video.

3. Tap Share.

4. Tap Publish to Google Maps.

• If you don't see this option, tap More --> Publish to Google Maps --> Done.

5.  Choose where you want to post the item:

• If it's clear where the photo or video is, Google Maps will pick the location for you.
• If not, tap Select a location to search for an address or location.

6.  Tap the Publish button.
