Women's jacket by Northfinder brand. Functional jacket for ladies has a hybrid construction and trendy color design. It is suitable for hiking and outdoor adventures even in adverse weather conditions such as strong wind and rain. The material of the mountain windbreaker has undergone a water-repellent treatment without PFC compounding, and the waterproof membrane will ensure your comfort even in the rain. Due to its properties, the blue jacket is also suitable for light skiing or cross-country skiing.

Women's hiking windbreaker has synthetic insulation over the entire surface. Synthetic fleece is soft, breathable and imitates the properties of down. However, the synthetic filling is more resistant to moisture absorption and does not lose its insulating properties even when slightly wet. The upper part of the women's hiking jacket (hood, shoulders, upper chest) is made of three-layer light softshell with a membrane of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m2/24h. There is a 2.5-layer lightweight membrane on the chest and back with a water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24h. The inside of the shoulders, sides and bottom are made of quilted lightweight material.

The women's softshell jacket has a built-in adjustable hood with drawstrings. It closes with a YKK zipper, which passes into a collar with a chin guard at the top. The zipper is lined with a protective flap against the wind. The quilted hiking jacket has sleeves finished with inner cuffs with thumbholes. It has two side zip pockets, one inner pocket and an adjustable bottom edge. To make you visible, the Northfinder jacket also features reflective elements.

Durable Water Repellent - (DWR) is a treatment applied to fabrics that prevents water from being soaked and causes water to condense and run off. The treatment consists of fluoropolymers that create surface tension, causing water droplets to converge and slide off the fabric. DWR is used on outerwear such as jackets and pants to keep you dry in wet weather. It is an essential item for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers as it provides additional protection from the elements. DWR technology is also environmentally friendly as it reduces the need for excessive washing and re-stressing, thus extending the life of the garment.

PFC free

PFC free - Dirt and water-repellent impregnation without fluorocarbon compounds, the so-called PFC. Chemical compounds that are harmful to the environment and health are not released when worn or washed.

Softshell - is the name for a type of multi-layer material. The aim of softshell is to provide sufficient comfort for most activities and climatic conditions in one piece of clothing or footwear. It is a material that in itself ensures water resistance to a certain extent, the warmth of the fleece and wind resistance. Another of its properties is the lightness of the material, which is why softshell began to be used in shoes as well. This reduced the weight of the shoe.

water column 20,000mm

Water column 20,000 - The water column expresses the waterproofness of functional clothing and its value is given in millimeters. According to the h value of the water column , you will find out how much volume (column) of water a particular fabric can withstand before water starts to seep through . If the water pressure exceeds the given limit, the fabric will start to seep water and become wet. The longer you move in a humid or wet environment, the less waterproof your clothing becomes. When buying clothing with a water column, it is good to consider the environment and how you will use the clothing.
