Tuning brings a unique connection of the electric bike to the mobile phone and enables the deactivation of the speed limiter of the electric bike. When using tuning, the correct speed values up to 22.2 km/h are shown on the display. After exceeding 22.2 km/h, the real speed is indicated on the last two digits of the display.

You can monitor real values in the entire speed range from driving in the SpeedBox App on your phone's display. In order to properly activate all functions of the SpeedBox, it is necessary to enter the menu after switching on the e-bike and enter the circuit data of your e-bike. You can activate the SpeedBox 1.0 B. Tuning chip easily in the mobile application or on the display of the electric bicycle. After a short activation of the WALK function (holding the “-” button), the value 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) will appear on the display, and from that moment you can go at an unlimited speed. You can turn off the chip function by reactivating the WALK function (holding down the “-” button). The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit is back on. The electric bike then works the same as before the chip was installed.

For e-bikes that do not have the WALK function, the tuning is set using the + - + - button combination and the SpeedBox is activated. You can then easily deactivate SpeedBox in the same way.

After the first launch of the SpeedBox App, you will be prompted to set a PIN. You will then use this PIN every time you start the SpeedBox App. After choosing a PIN, you will also be asked to set a service password, which you will use in case you forget your PIN or want to change it.

The "counting" process takes place secretly even during charging, so if you are charging your e-bike with the battery connected, you can ignore the following instructions. If you are disconnecting the battery from your e-bike to charge it, you should wait and leave the e-bike on until the SpeedBox performs the "countdown" process after your ride. The ongoing "countdown" process is indicated by the increasing driving time on the display of the stopped electric bicycle. As soon as the "countdown" is completed, the ride time stops and the e-bike display shows the correct distance traveled. The "countdown" process can be interrupted by turning off the electric bike or starting it up, it does not limit the use of your electric bike in any way. However, it is necessary to let the SpeedBox regularly perform the "subtraction" process in order to prevent the detection of tuning on your e-bike.

SpeedBox App for SpeedBox B. Tuning
The SpeedBox App, designed specifically for SpeedBox B. Tuning, uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your mobile phone. After downloading the application and connecting the mobile phone to the e-bike, you can see the current data and driving parameters on the phone display. You can save individual trips, compare them with friends and track your own performance. So you can fully enjoy the ride and leave checking the parameters for later. The operation of the SpeedBox B. Tuning chip is not conditioned by the use of the SpeedBox App. However, this is a great add-on, thanks to which you will have a complete overview of your performances. To connect with the SpeedBox B. Tuning chip, the phone must be equipped with Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher. The application allows:
